Nasic (National Students Information Center Co.,Ltd.) is a company that can introduce you to student accommodations that include meals to support your health or rooms that are fully furnished for a convenient moving experience.
We support international students in Japan from the time they first start searching for a room until they move out.
The cram school where I was studying Japanese in my home country introduced me to a room near my school.I was very surprised because it used a key card, which was different from all the other rooms I'd seen. It also had many other excellent facilities like a delivery box, which was perfect for my lifestyle.
I was nervous about living on my own. I told one of my teachers I would like to live in a property that had a lot of students, and they introduced me to a student accommodation managed by Nasic. The thought of being surrounded by other people my age made me feel safe, so I decided to live there.
From when I first started looking for a room until even today, everything's been great. When I searched for a 「women-only student accommodation」I felt very reassured when I discovered one of Nasic's properties because they introduce student accommodations from all over Japan. The only little concern I have is sometimes noise from the trash collection area bothers me because I live on the first floor...
I lived in a sharehouse before moving into this room. Since I'm living on my own for the first time, I've had to learn to solve various issues by myself, but I feel reassured because Nasic will help me whenever I have a problem. The experience of living alone really helps you to feel like you are growing up!
I found one of Nasic's rooms after I searched for a student accommodation with meals included. When I looked into it, I found it was run by the Tokyu Fudosan Group and that many of the residents were people my age. This made me feel very secure, so I decided to choose that place. It's made my life very easy because meals are included and the property is easily accessible.
One of friends who was living in a Nasic student accommodation introduced me to them. My Japanese isn't very proficient, but the staff spoke to me in easy Japanese and also provided support in English, so I could do all the procedures with no issues. I was relieved because all of the staff are very kind.
We can recommend rooms that are commutable from your new school.
We will email you about the availability of the rooms you are interested in, and send you materials detailing the conditions for making a contract and what services are covered.
Once you have decided on a room, you will apply for it. You will have to undergo a tenant screening. The guarantor company will contact you directly. The results of your screening will be delivered by Nasic.
After the tenant screening, you will participate in a video call using a phone, tablet, computer, or other device. During the video call, we will go over "important matters" as determined by Japanese law.
Sign the contract and return it. Make sure to fill out the form completely!
Next, you will pay the initial fees required for signing the contract. Once Nasic has confirmed payment, the contract is complete.
You must make contracts for electricity, gas, and water, as well as sign up for fire insurance before you move in. You will be asked for a Japanese phone number to make these contracts. Nasic will introduce how to complete these procedures to you.
When the first day of your contract arrives, please come and get your key from a Nasic branch office.Your new life in Japan will start once you have finished moving in! We hope you make many wonderful memories!
